Protected Properties

Lake of Bays Heritage Foundation (LBHF) owns and manages 170 acres of forested land and nearly half of the shoreline on the north-east bank of the lower Oxtongue River. We also manage, on behalf of the Ontario Heritage Trust, the Boothby property (of 47 acres and over 1.8 kilometres of lakefront shoreline) and Pyke property (of 100 acres).
