Volunteering with the LBHF brings lots of benefits:
- You feel good about helping to protect the natural and built legacy of the area;
- You meet other people in the community who share your interests;
- You learn about the past, present and future of the area.
We need volunteers to sit on the Board or Committees (Natural Heritage, Built and Cultural Heritage, Communications and Fundraising). Meetings are usually five or six times per year. Work can be done on your own schedule. Our Board is composed of a mix of permanent and seasonal residents. Meetings are held in one of our homes.
